Inspection Antidotes

Page history last edited by John Davitt 15 years ago

A page dedicated to list and strategies as to how we can end the pernicious cycle of school inspections that leave schools distracted, ennervated or depressed. Intended as an anti-Ofsted resource but open to world teachers who feel their inspection processes need adjustment to make them better.

  1. Use social bookmarking to bring resources to school under  attack #ofstedin
  2. Phone Ofsted Friday and say you will be in to check their processes and paperwork on Monday
  3. Build wiki of successful strategies
  4. Start a You Tube Channel "ways to make inspection better" teachers leave short movies with advice
  5. Confer with other schools under attack and arrange to teach exactly the same lessons, arrange the classrooms in the same way, and maybe have a couple of members of staff who pop up in all the schools during the attack, to add to confusion.
